GM's TH-400 is one h@ll of an auto! Ive seen one accidentally shifted to reverse in a >400 lbft tq car with true posi while going forward at 30 mph.
(69 Riviera with the 4 barrel 430) Result? A dual wheel reverse burnout and RAPID deceleration with no obvious signs of damage to the tranny. IIRC one of the Ferraris used the turbo400 tranny in it?
