Back in March some asshat broke into my Sport and took everything from the trunk. I can replace most everything except for my Lambda PB12. What kills me is how great that sub sounded. I managed to impress car audiophiles with the sound quality from my fairly simplistic setup. It wasn't competition worthy in my rig, but it sounded a helluva lot better than it looked
I have a classified up, and the bit in my sig, but honestly it will probably take a small miracle to find a PB12 for sale (unless mine shows up on ebay). So, those of you who were familiar with Lambda products, is there anything out there that compares to the build quality of the old Lambdas? I remember a lot of hype around Stryke/Acoustic Elegance, but last time I checked their website, it was severely out of date (I can't seem to access it right now).

i know john (of stryke/AE) bought out the last of nick's remaining lambda inventory, and iirc, the last pair of PB12's sold some time ago. newman may know of some around, as he seems to be the oracle for all things lambda (that, and he was mentioning using them in his next install... ). good luck. i miss my lambdas as well (though i looooove my AE's just as much....)

I was thinking of a road trip up to Green Bay since its only a few hours away, but I didn't know what to think when I saw their website. Should I just try and call and see what's up at AE?

Call John, he is out of the office for a while, but it's the best way to get a hold of him. He would be able to build you a new PB12, I suspect.

I've got a Lambda PB-12LE in a custom enclosure if you're interested.

i don't think he's looking for the LE motor. but even still, the PB-LE is a great great sub.

I wasn't but at this point I don't see how I can be too picky. Besides from what I remember the only difference is barely noticeable anyway. PM sent.

In strictly a subwoofer application under 80 hz or so, the difference would be completely negligible.
