Hey all,
I'm currently having a body shop paint and install my new primered SVT sideskirts,
and Rear bumper onto my 99' 'stique.
I was quoted $700 for everything. Does this sound like a good price?
I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to body and paint projects.
Thanks for any input you have to offer!

Hmm... thats an okay deal. I would consider installing the skirts and rear bumper yourself and save yourself some money. I'm sure you could talk em down 150.00 or so if y ou put those on the car yourself. . It is VERY easy to install these yourself.

I just talked to the shop this morning.
The owner of the company told me if I pay $700 for the sides and rear installation,
he'll do a custom front end for free!
So even though it would be pretty easy to install them myself...
I'd like to get the front end done for free.
Thanks for the input though!

$700 to do the sides and rear wow. took me about 20 minutes to get them all off. putting them on is only slightly harder unless you have a second hand. Then its just a hair harder.

$700 to paint and install skirts and rear PLUS to make a "custom" front end is a great deal. I say go for it and post the pics...

Let's see, skirts paint/install - cost me like $140; rear bumper paint (no install) - about $300. I would say that if the rear bumper job doesn't include some expert work (like if the bumper was badly cracked and/or got holes in it) - $700 are a tad heavy.

not sure how much they are charging for painting, but for the difficulty of putting on the rear fascia (4 bolts) and side skirts (chritmas tree clips) it must be about $650 to paint. High I think.

but you have to glue the rear bumper on the rebar, and that can be reaallll tricky.
