What kind of supercharger is that? The car sounds mean.

Agreed, the Pre-98 lid looks great! I don't think I had seen pictures of that before. Love the RS5's and the drop. Great pics. (oh yeah, I guess the supercharged 3.0 isn't bad either )

Thanks. I don't post here much since I'm usually busy with my Jeep.

You don't happen to work at LAP do you? I noticed a few CSVTs in the parking lot there last time I was down.

It is a vortech supercharger with a custom jackshaft with bearing supports on both ends.

Is this Marks(worldtour) old Svt? only reason i ask is because of the decal over the exhaust..

Yep. He bought it, ran it out of oil and toasted the engine. Sent it to Terry for 3L rebuild.

Cliff notes-

I blew up the supercharger and jackshaft.
Ran NA for a while, fried #5 main bearing @ 76K miles (common enough)
Tim (Contour Power) and myself went to work
pulled old tired crap apart
Installed 2002 Sable 3L, new clutch, basic setup
Sent to HMS for trans rebuild, LSD instal
Got it back after a loong wait, put on dyno and injectors max at 5000 RPM
No high revving fun for me until I get more cash (36#, Walbro 255 and dyno-tune)
