Not necessarily. If the filament in the bulb is about to break or it broke and then touched again because of the bump, that could be the reason for it to be fixed temporarily. In my younger days, I used to flip the burnt out household light bulbs around to get the filaments to touch and "voila" a few more weeks or months before buying another one. So try changing the bulb first and see if that works.
