In regards to the Mondeo, in the fourth episode this season, they reviewed the new BMW 3-series which they say had overtaken the Mondeo in sales.
That the Mondeo once outsold the 3-series was a shocker because of the Contour's relative anonymity here in the states.
The segment then finished with Jeremy saying he'd rather have the Mondeo than the 3-series and Hammond calling it "perfect" multiple times
