Well I'm on bumber #3... Ok, here is the story: I'm running the register at Sheetz (big gas station/food place for those who don't know...  ) when a lady comes inside and asks "Do you know who drives the black ford?". Immediatly I turn my head and look out to see my car. Looks ok from my angle, then she proceeds to tell me that she backed into it. So I leave like 6 customers in line and run outside to look at it. Well since my 3rd rear bumper is an SVT I was really worried, but thank god it should be ok after some paint. At least I won't have to pay for the bill. I have no idea how she managed to do this, but her Tahoe is untouched. Pics- large file size... Pre 98 trunk lid?

how the [censored] do you hit a non moving object, its not like it can suddenly get in the way, some people should be allowed to drive ...

Yea, the woman should not have been driving a TAHOE! obviously.

Some people just don't belong on the road period. 
That sucks about your car... Doesn't look TOO bad though... At least she didn't pull a hit and run...

I'm sorry about your 'tour.  As Andy said, at least she didn't pull a hit and run. Gotta give her a point for being honest. Now go find the best body shop and make her pay.

God I miss Sheetz! I've lived all over the country, and NOWHERE ELSE can you fill up your tank, get a good cup of coffee, and a nice tasty sub at 3 in the morning. I wish they'd go nationwide, there's no reason in the world why they couldn't do it and make a killing.
Anyway, that really sucks.. But at least she was honest enough to fess up to it. After a new trunk lid and some work on the panel below the tail light, any decent body shop should be able to make it look good as new. Keep us posted!

Damn that sucks. As everyone said though,atleast she fessed up. Some people just can't drive.
So are you going to pay her dentist bill after knocking her teeth out?

My neighbors 4 year old nephew managed to put their Durango into neutral when the keys were out of it and it rolled down the driveway right into our garage door!!! But I'm suprised that it wasn't a hit and run. Nice car (before the dent), by the way.
