I agree they are pricey but I think its for a good reason. He makes them by hand and uses real carbon fiber, this is what he told me at least. I don't actually have a set but I was thinking of buying some. The only bad thing is you have to send him your sail panels for 2 weeks. Which means if you don't want to drive your car around without them for 2 weeks you have to buy another set.
Or I would have already done it. If he was smart he would just buy a stock of sail panels (or get a group buy going), make them and sell them for $100 + a trade for your stock sail panels. That way he keeps his stock of sail panels and still makes his money. Hmmm....wonder if he would do that?
