I removed my 24V emblems from the front fenders and found that there is no clearcoat under them. I removed all the tape and cleaned the surface and now I have a 1.5in X 2.5in square of dull paint on my fenders. I purchased the Hella oval LED side markers but now they are out of the question. Has anyone found a side marker that will cover this area (same size as 24V emblem)? If not it looks like I will have to replaced the 24V emblems and forget the side markers

I couldn't find any website that gives dimensions for the A4 side markers. I know that they fit in the hole with limited modification. My main concern is covering the bfugly spot completely

I thought about that.....but I don't want to risk making the problem worse than it is. My paint is flawless with the exception of this new problem and I would replace the emblem before I risked the paint job.

To answer your question:

The A4 ones are a rectangle. I had them on my other contour and they fit 'more or less' where the GL badge was. I don't know if the picture will help, but its not a square like the 24V was....

I have the Audi A6 sidemarkers. They are not as large as the 24V badge, but pretty close. With the sidemarkers I do not think that there would be a huge issue with the clearcoat.

Can you post a close-up pic of your A6 side markers?
