You'd be surprised. I posted here a while back that someone I know got slapped with a ticket for having a tinted plate cover he bought at Canadian Tire. Meanwhile, you see some cars zip right by police with the same cover with no problem 
If it's anywhere in Peel Region or around Darknights in Markham, stuff like this will more than likely make you a prime target for a ticket
