I disagree with that..A lot of the electronics will no longer be mass-produced (if they're still produced at all), so they'll be more expensive and harder to come by. I know this from experience--I had to replace several ABS parts on my '88 Thunderbird. Most of them were either completely unavailable, discontinued and there were only a handful left in the whole country, or insanely expensive.

I'm sure fuel injection components for engines like a Chevy LS1 will be around pretty much forever since people tend to hold on to trucks and Vettes. But for a 2.5 Duratec? Good luck..
