I think I can handle (as in bear with a problem) a blown engine or tranny. Probably cost about $3K each to fix. That would still be much cheaper than car payments on a 2 to 3 year old comparable car.

But I really don't think I can handle a wire harness issue. Based on what I read, when the dealers "fix" the problem, it is never fully fixed and I would go crazy if I had to spend $3k to $4k to have the dealer fix something and have more issues after that.
