Sometimes having a show last all day is necessary, and a good thing. It means there is interest and popularity in the hobby. Other times, it can be a nuissance or even painful. It just depends on your point of view.

In all reality, the Tweeter shows are a little different, in that they are supposed to last until at least 3:00 or 3:30 while the live radio feeds are going on. But the awards are supposed to be done no later than 4:30. I know that for the Schaumburg show all the local certified judges will be in attendance in case the show gets as big as expected. Also, I heard the event coordinator say that judging will begin as early as 9:30 (if the competitors are there) to ensure we are out of there by 4:00-4:30. This is whay I suggest our group be there early so we can get judged and then enjoy the rest of the day. I'll have my 10' x 10' canopy there to provide some shade or shelter as well, so bring your chairs.
