I got the K&N open filter, which caused massive massive moosing. In went the copper pipe cap, and the moosing stopped. I'm not quite sure, but has anyone else noticed a decrease in power from this? I've read that some people have, but I'm not too familiar with the 3L side of things.
I was fooling around today, and opened up the hole in the cap slightly with a drill...the moosing came back, but I think the car is pulling a little better. But then again, maybe my mind is playing tricks on me?
Anyways...any ideas of how to retain the power and get rid of the moose? Perhaps an aftermarket aluminum intake tube would help?
