I figured that all pressure plate/clutch assy came with an alignment tool. I only go on this based on the pressure plate/clutch assy that my wife and I purchused from St. Charles Isuzu (just like the dealer Bill Jenkins works for). When talking with Charles, the parts guy there, he told me that all their clutch kits came with aligment tools.

I would ask your parts manager if your OEM clutch kit comes with a alignment tool. Most all aftermarket kits come with one. To be such a simple piece, it seems odd that Ford does not include one in the kit.

Still has Flame Suit on!

I didn't want to take a chance that the clutch would come without the alignment tool. Ford sells the pressure plate and clutch as separate parts (i.e. it's not advertised as a "here's everything you need" type kit).

My new SPEC kit is already on its way to me -- I'm sure I'll be happy with it, as others have been. If someone can confirm that the SVT clutch part (or the pressure plate) includes the alignment tool, then I'll gladly add that information to the MTX-75 Parts Spreadsheet (which, by the way, has been extensively updated throughout this past week).

I'm putting in a newer tranny with a Spec Clutch & SVT Flywheel, I have all the fluids and rear oil seal.. is it worthwhile to replace the axle seals?

And the clutch slave cylinder is that the throw out bearing or something else all together? when does that seal get changed?

Thanks

Unless the seals are leaking no need to replace. The slave is the same as the TOB.
