I witnessed something VERY similar to that. 95 LT1 Firehawk in a double left turn lane. We're hanging out at the local spot and checking out his car. He waves, then the light goes green. He hammers down, bangs 2nd gear IN TE MIDDLE OF THE TURN!! Goes completely sideways, fishtailing for about 100 feet, back and forth, back and forth! Just when he's about to gain control, the rear end slides out, he shoots OVER the median, nose of the car about 4' off the ground and sparks flying everywhere. He's in the other direction of traffic, and tries to take off. He ends up slamming into an Olds Alero and smashing her doors in, then 2 other cars end up colliding because of it. Funny part is, a guy that hangs out there is a Sherriff and saw the whole thing. The guy driving ended up not even being the owner of the car. I bet his dad was pissed!
