I bought this car in nonworking condition, so I don't know if the speedo ever worked right. I just put 225/50/16 tires on the stock rims..but that wouldn't throw the speedometer off 10+ mph would it? It does seem to be linear, though seems to linger a little in the 20-40mph range.

I read in previous posts that the VSS sends out 2 signals, 1 to the PCM and 1 to the gauges. Since the OBD2 software was reading the correct speed then that would indicate the sensor is ok and something is wrong w/ the gauge. Maybe the needle just needs to be re-calibrated?
