Dude, everybody deserves to suffer. EVERYBODY! That's a fact in a sinful and fallen world. And in all reality, the Bible does not "speak of no one to suffer." In fact, the Bible speaks of taking responsibility for our actions, and suffering for said actions. If a dumb choice is made, as your friend made, he is GOING to suffer. And because we all make dumb choices, we all suffer. We're lucky if we don't have to suffer at the hands of dumb people, and your friend is lucky that nobody else (bystanders, other motorists) is not suffering with him.
Suffering is not all bad as it's made out to be. In fact, suffering is quite good, if you are willing to learn from it.
As for your friend, I hope he doesn't die, and I did say a quick prayer for him just now. But don't say he doesn't deserve to suffer. He made the choice to ingest the alcohol, and luckily nobody else is in a body bag because of it. And hopefully, he'll come out of it and be a better person for it.
I'm sorry it happened to him. And by the way, if you didn't want your friend to get the third degree here, you didn't have to tell CEG NATION that alcohol was involved...
