Sorry I will not pray for Stupid People who can't call a Friend or a Cab when they are drinking....
If he would have killed someone whould you feel the same way? NOPE!!!!
If i was drunk and went out and Shot myself in the Head but was alive would anyone feel sorry or feel the need to pray for me? NEGATIVE!
Some times the Truth hurts.. This is one of them cases... 
Ya know what I hope he is just fine, then about a year from now I can laugh at him when he has to come to my shop to get a breathilzer installed on his car.

That would have been devistating for the victom and their family. yet i would still be praying for him, because if he where to make it through, he would have to live the rest of his life with that burden on him from a very serious, stupid mistake.

I treat these cases as if someone other than the guilty was maimed or killed. I'm certainly not hoping he dies, but if he had killed or maimed someone other than himself I would be. I know it sucks to hear these words said about your friend, but all I know about him is that he is an idiot drunk driver, and that is enough to deserve harsh words. The only hope I have in this situation is that some may learn from his stupidity.

All this post was about was an ask for prayer, not a DARE lesson. However, you two are very much correct. These last two nights have been difficult as all hell. It's very hard to feel bad when the pain indurred was self inflicted. He is lucky it was only him that was involved, and nothing/no one else. If he HAD killed someone.. say my girlfriend, one of you, myself..I don't know what I would think at that point. So, I do feel and understand your guys' comments.
But, at the same time, regardless of the act commited, ParkedCar and others are very much correct. No one deserves to suffer... regardless of the choice that was made. Can he reverse time? No, but I wish he could. If your child or friend shop lifted, do you hate them for ever? If they stole a car... do you never trust them? If they had a drink one night and wrecked their car... do you fault them forever? As this is more a post about ethics and beliefs, the bible speaks of no one to suffer. The actions he commited two nights ago are at the mercy of court...and his life. He is paying dearly for an uneducated choice he made and would appreciate comments of "He deserves it" to be held under your breath at this point until word of improvved condition is heard. NO ONE deserves to die, not when you are 29. When and if he gets better and deals with the legalities of this choice, you guys can post all you like about what he deserves (I will probably side with you, then.)
Again, those of you who belive in miracles and prayer, please give Scott your support.

I agree completely with you guys that no one should drink and drive. I dont drink and never have and probably never will, so when i am at parties with my friends and they get drunk, i drive them home, or take their keys.
This thread isnt about that though.
All that was asked is that those who do, pray for a friend.

it's a public forum, so yes, they do. he didn't have to mention the fact that he was drunk, and in doing so, he knew there would be comments about it.
i hope his friend gets better. but i don't feel sorry for him. i feel sorry for his friends (like the chad) and his family, who will have to endure the pain of his actions.

If one is stupid enough to drive under the influance he deserves whatever happens to him. Be it death or whatever! I deal with these type of people everyday. I have money on that when hes recovered its not his fault Trust me i see it day after day. He will flip it around sayin [censored] like "Cuase you never drove drunk." or "i just got unlucky" Ill give you the line i tell them "NO your just [censored] retarted for driving drunk not lucky!"
I dont' feel sorry for stupid people(or people who make stupid decisions).
