Okay to add to my problems, I put my gf's POS audiobahn woofer (dont recall model #, but its single 4 ohm, 600wrms) in my trunk for temporary relief. I connected it friday, and last night it stopped working as well. Could not having a subsonic filter be my problem? I don't want to spend $135 on a new woofer to burn it out

The Titanic MkIII 15" sub is on sale for 173.00. Outstanding sub for the money.

Sealed.... 3.4 cuft

For more clues on whats going on with my system, I DID melt the VC on the Audiobahn. It's solid as ever, doesn't move in or out at all

Bring your amp somewhere, it sounds like it might have some issues.

Bringing this post back because I'm taking my amp to Columbus Car Audio to get it tested. Before I go, I wanna know what to expect. Could NOTHING be wrong with my amp, and I just have my gains up too high? I mean, the Tempest was 500wrms, 700watts max and it lasted some months. The Audiobahn melted..... uh, cause its Audiobahn.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is some DC offset in the amp but I don't know what else it would be off hand. Keep us posted.
