Andrew's car > yours. (boosted and faster).
My two brown pennies from 1931 though. I wouldn't mind your car either. In black, and I would've gone with the 4 door coupe.

i appreciate the defense (and i agree 100% by the way lol) but 4 door coupe is a total oxymoron. coupe = 2 door by nature, correct? or am i totally off-base here.

Just kidding, it actually looks like a nice car, I'm just biased, for no legitimate reasons really but that's ok, I realize I'm biased and I'm at peace with it -Peter

saturn dealerships are awesome! you're in good hands. I remember my dad would take his saturn into the dealership for work to be done, and when it was all finished they would wash and clean out the car for you!
great customer service
so did you sell the contour?

DONT MOD IT. Save your money to buy a nice car down the road. Use your saturn for a few years, maintain it well and keep it in good condition. Sell it in a few years and buy something better. If you really cant hold back on modding, just buy a cheaper car to make fast (omni glh or other dodge turbo, eclipse GST or GSX, or just about anything else with a turbo). Keep your saturn stock and build a nice weekend eclipse to have fun with.
I am not trying to bash your car choice. I am sure it gets great gas mileage, and it must be nice to have a new car under factory warranty. Your car is not a great performer to start, why start wasting your money?
I would limit myself to do-it-yourself kind of mods like painting the grill if I were you.

this car was purchased for reliability. I don't have the money to go all out modding. But have you ever driven an Ecotec equipped car or even an ION? Do you have any first hand experience in saying this car will not perfom well? It wont run 13s for a couple g's but saying it "cannot perform so why waste your money" is just ridiculous sounding to me.
Why would I mod this car? Because its mine, I'm going to be driving it for a while so why not modify it to satisfy my needs? Its not wasting money because its going into a car I drive everyday.
For now the only thing I have planned for this car is suspension mods and wheels and a couple bolt ons. None of that I consider a waste of money...
