well okay...so they killed 2 birds with one stone when they came...they'll make money on the srt4 headlights... but
like I said before... many companies will start projects and spend money and still abandon them...
I see you are falling into the "sunk cost" fallacy/concorde fallacy... the costs are irrecoverable. If the company is wise...they don't keep investing in a cause that will not be profitable. Companies don't usually operate (at least very long) based off of recouping costs...but rather being profitable...there is a huge difference.
That's all I am saying...now it appears that I am saying they won't ever make them...which I am not, but I could see them changing their mind and wouldn't blame them for doing so.

Look I am not saying it won't happen, but I am surprised and will be more so if they actually decide it will make them money.
I just don't understand why a company would make a custom headlight for a car that isn't even considered a car people mod...let alone one that has been out of production for 6 years... and don't talk about plane tickets etc or the cost they have already incurred...that's chump change.
I will buy a set if it happens...I just have a hard time thinking they will really happen...maybe I am jaded...who knows

Why must they be DOT approved!? Just throw a sticker on there that says for off-road use only and call it a day!

that is how morette rolls. you get a premium product. no skimping on the materials or the legality. i know that things will have to change with the prototypes i have to get them through DOT. the srt 4 lights are stuck in DOT even as we speak.
