You asked for opinions so... Maybe you could use some of that clear plastic for winterizing windows and shrink wrap it to the fenders. No, that would melt too quickly.. How 'bout having the windshield from a Mack truck custom cut to fit? You could install the custom hood hinges so you wouldn't need a prop stand! Just remember to scrape the inspection stickers off before you mount the hood-shield thingy... Just my $.02
