For the purposes of an automobile, the effect of these headlights on its aerodynamics is negligible. If it was a plane... yeah, it'd make a difference

I can very easily see that happening. They are so . This is a major, major mod for our cars and we should be thankful that still another company is willing to research and come up with this. But, until they can take care of the gaps, which may not look as major in person as they appear in the pictures, I'm not sure I'm gonna be interested. I commend all who have had a part in making this happen, but I sincerely hope the third prototype addresses these problems.
(That being said, I'm still living with the CF cowl hood gap. I just don't want to draw more attention to the problem. One of these days, I'll have to try and adjust the fender.)

morette here is the link to morette's web site. take a look around at what kind of products they make and how they fit. dont forget to look at the customers rides section. they make some great products. we are very fortunate to be able to be part of the development of these lights. development of a product takes time to get it right. these are only the second prototype that morette has produced, so people's "they dont fit perfect" statements are right on. they dont fit perfect, but then again it isnt a final product yet. it is only the second prototype. when you see pics of the third prototype they might not fit perfect either. this is all a process of producing a product that will in the end be spectacular. morette is a quality company with quality engineers. they care so much about this product the president of the company and a lead engineer flew to chicago from france to start off this process. with a little patience and a little idea of how things work you will see that in the end they made us an awesome alternative to our stock housings that completely transforms the car.

So the ones Morette is making now that you're discussing are different from the ones they have already for the Mondeo? http://www.ccmotorsport.co.uk/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=morette-contour&Category_Code=ford_contourI don't know about this thus I ask. The conversion kit looks about the same. Please inform me. Thanks!

the mondeo morettes are too tall and too short width wise to fit. the front of the mondeo and contour are very different. these are specifially made for the post 98 contour. if you look around there are many threads discussing this process. right-mondeo left-contour

I like how ours have a totally clear lens... I remember one of the Mondeo owners oogling our stock 98+ b/c of the totally clear lens.
