Ray's kid is young and it would be an experience (for all three) living in a different country for a few years. Now, if the kid was in elementary school, then it would be harder to uproot the family. If it was Baghdad they were moving to, I would probably chime in with a no.

To me, I wouldn't consider putting my family anywhere near that. The risk in terms of percentages may be very small but the results of the risks are potentially much more severe. Don't get me wrong, anything can happen anywhere, but money isn't a good reason to take that risk. If Ray were single, I'd tell him to do it without hesitation, but he really is the least important factor in this scenario (his wife/kid(s) being more important). And I don't mean that as a slight to Ray, I'm sure he would agree.
