Stay true to your feelings, if you feel better about getting bang for the buck, do it, it's all a bunch of marketing hype to bilk us out of our hard earned dollars anyways. If you win the lottery, then buy whatever floats your desires. I bet you'll still get more satisfaction from the bang for the buck ride?

A study done 8-10 years ago, showed if a person only bought and kept a car every 10 years, they would be $300K ahead of the person who replaced every 3-4 years. And if they leased another $150K-250K. Retirement would be so much sweeter.
I know, the other side, enjoy now for you may die tomorrow. Unfortunately too many people are doing just that and I believe it's part of the reason the economy is so hosed. Greed!
