The pics aren't the best. To me they turned out looking like a lite blue. In person it looks like a blue, like color crayon blue, with the metallic.
We actually fixed the door handle bezel. My step-dad took and sized up the nut/bolt and used JB Weld stuff to glue it on. We had to sand the outside of the nut to make it round and fit the hole for both sides. It works fine and feels plenty sturdy. Nice fix. It beats paying $29 each + tax and shipping.
After we put the car back together we also replaced the window weather stripping (the driver door window weather stripping kept popping out). I replaced all 4 doors weather stripping for the window. The old ones I replaced about 5 or 6 years ago, so it is nice to replace the icky ones.
I am so happy to have the Contour back.
