I think we might handle it like last time. Make it easy to catch him.
We don't call now, let him come down to pick up the computer, and when he gets here, stall him and call the cops.
Otherwise they might have trouble getting him.

Tell your boss, and ask him/her what you should do in the future about this.
Personally I think it's an obligation to report this sort of thing. If I ever find it (haven't yet) I will definitely go to the cops. Child porn is disgusting, and also a sign of this person might end up doing something bad, being local to you too might even involve someone you know!

well, i would find out when he is coming to pick it up and let the cops know before to be there at that time, that way you don't have to worry about stalling him

What if you found a stash of crack in a customer's car?
Child porn is illegal, for one. You have become a witness to a (potential) crime. Best thing is to let the police handle it, to ensure that a) you don't get in trouble for "aiding" a criminal, and b) the "alleged perp" doesn't get off on some "invasion of privacy" technicality.
Take it to your boss, to ensure you follow company policy. It's the right thing and a legal obligation, IMO.

Definitely report it to your boss. Sick-O kiddy porn searching guys like this don't have any friends to refer to your business anyway, so it's not like you're missing out on any potential customers.
