an attentive employee at my local CVS noticed child pornography in the files kept by the photo machine and reported to her boss, who then notified the authorities.
I think you're taking some good steps thusfar.
I think since this also seems to be a recurring issue, you should talk with your boss and find out if there's an existing company policy on how these issues should be dealt with. If there is no policy, then it should be suggested that they draft such a policy, not only to save the children, so to speak, but also to help guide employees better.
