When you consider one's demographics as disqualification of their views and opinions, the argument ends. I did my best to illustrate how stupid it is dismiss someone that way, and I believe I succeeded. So in other words, the debate ended when you made the ridiculous comment about my demographics and my lack of travel. A pissing contest ensued because there was nothing else to do.

Who has nothing to fall back on? If my location and my within-U.S. border travel preferences serves as a disqualification of my opinion in your view, then I'd suggest your view is quite self-righteous.

I'm still waiting for you to tell me why one must travel in order to 'understand the world better'. If you think one must leave American borders in order to form valid opinions and possess respected views, then you are seriously underestimating the power of all kinds of media and references.
