I'm looking into getting a set of fog/driving lights for my car, since it's a base model and didn't have any from the factory and my headlights are piss poor, even with silverstars and de-hazed lenses.

I'm just wondering what some of you guys have used,or are using, because I'm looking for a good light that I can use to work well with low beams and will give me good visbility, but won't be blinding oncoming traffic.

I'm not looking to spend a fortune, but I also don't want cheapo Wal mart lights. Maybe something in the $150-300 (CDN) range. I dunno...let's hear some suggestions.

Thanks

I got the cheap walmart lights, they are great if they aren't exposed to the elements. After 1 year, all the screws are rusted and the connections are all fugged up. I would say go for the PIAAs, everyone seems to like them, and they can be modified to fit the stock bracket.

only problem with them is that they are $200. buy the $50 hella optilux's that a few people here are sporting lately (me included ). if you dont like the rings, dont wire them in. simple! they fit in the stock bracket too, with some minor modifications (same with the piaas).

i have pics in my sig.

PIAA 510's. The white ones are bright enough you don't need headlights, and the ions go well if you have HID bulbs in your headlights.

I put 100W Hella Optilux in my high beams, and they are great. See the recent thread in Aesthetics.

So the PIAA 510's and Hella 2500's are good ones to look at?

I'd like lights that are bright enough to use without my headlights,or also aid my headlights when they're on,but aren't blazingly bright that people flash their high beams at me. So those 2 sets of lights will pretty much do that for me?
