Alright, I just want to start of saying that my CSVT has been flawless for the 20k miles I have driven it for. Nothing major has gone wrong (knock on wood).

However, this past summer a couple of problems have arisen and though I have searched I cannot find any posts that explain my situation, so here goes.

The first problem is that below 3k rpms, the car jerks horribly now. I realize at lowww rpms this is normal for a 5spd, but this is not the normal shaking/jerking, it occurs all the way up to around 3k and is REALLY annoying.

The second is that when I shift at anywhere between 3400 - 3600 rpm (yes, that EXACT range) I get a weird pinging/whistling noise. It sounds like I might have a vacuum leak (?) somewhere? I have no idea and this is kind of hard to explain, just hoping maybe someone had the same situation happen to them and know how to remedy it. Thanks for any help.

If I didn't describe something in enough detail to diagnose it I'd be happy to upon request. THANKS!!!
