Is the 170 based on the 2.0l or the 2.3l ?
95 Contour, Custom EVO bodykit, 2.0l, PNP Focus head, Stage 2 cams, Je pistons, Eagle rods, 4in1header, 2.5" header back exhaust(complete stainless), D P nitrous, ram air intake, 10mm wires, flamethrower.

Svt zetec was only a 2.0. the 2.3 had a rating of 140-153 depending on which vechile.

I was referring to the s170 in europe.

ST170 is the same as the SVT focus engine, only the ECU is different AFAIK

Somehow it looks different than the SVT motor. The intake looks like it enters from the left not the top.

thats how it is on the SVT zetec
only regular zetecs have the throttle body directly above the intake manifold.

True....
and it is a horible design,
a side mounted TB on a tuned intake manifold would do wonders for our car.
