I sat in an X-Type 5spd at the Chicago auto show, and was pretty impressed. (sitting still, anyway.
) The shifter felt even slicker than the one in the M5 (again, sitting still...), the car felt pretty comfortable... I say test drive it and see what you think. And no, you're not too young to drive a Jag... I'm 26, and I'd gladly own an X-Type if I could afford it. (no other Jag though, at least until they start making some more manuals.)
