oh yeah, forgot about that one. a few months ago I bought a cordless phone for around $50 and they tried to sell me a extended service plan for around $20 iirc
It's $8.99 for a replacement plan for a ~$50.00 cordless phone. I work at customer service so I see all the crap that's returned all the time. I'm actually pretty satisfied with the job. I love the people I work with, but I can't stand some of the rules and policies we have to abide by (EWSI anyone?). I think selling magazines at an electronics store is retarded, but I really do believe in the replacement plans we offer. They aren't usually priced bad, and they can be very helpful in the future. Oh and as far as talking about the plans after you say no: we have to do that or we get yelled at, plus if we are successful consistently, it gives us a better chance to get promoted.
