I bought an open element cone filter and MAF adaptor,but the MAF adaptor the shop ordered was too small,but my filter was able to stick right into MAF with no ill effects. I left the bottom of my air box in place,and my IAT just sits under my filter in the bottom of the box. I have not had any problems,except the urge to speed more often.
