As someone else mentioned, you can "hot wire" the ignition so that it would be the same as turning on the ignition key by running a wire from the positive post of the battery to the positive side of the coil. Don't run it for a lengthly time like this or you will damage the coil because you have bypassed the ballast resister. Five or ten minutes should be no problem.

You can crank the engine by jumping the starter relay (starter solonoid). I recommend that you have someone sitting in the driver's seat with their foot on the brake. There are two small wires on the relay and two large wires. One of the terminals for the small wires is marked "s". One of the large cables goes to the battery. If you jump between the "s" and the large battery posts on the solonoid, the engine will crank. Once the engine starts, remove the jumper to shut down the starter.
