I was wondering how to wire the sidemarkers so that they only come on when you use the blinkers. I have some on my car now and they are always on when the park lights are on then they blink brighter like most people have them. Any help on this would be much appreciated, thanks.

I have never heard anybody say a specific size, but someone has a picture. I have been dremeling my A6 markers, just need to get off my lazy butt and rip off the emblems and do it.

BP, to get a just blinker side marker, you just have to splice into the parking light wires in the headlight housing. No relays, just splicing. I have a diagram that someone made, it is the easiest way to do it. Connect the ground and the power and flash away! laugh

Hey Marvin this is what you can do. Cut off that little box we put on there and remove it from the wiring. Just undo those little wire splicers. and remove the whole box. Then you will be left with the red wire and the black wire. Splice the red wire into the blinker wire, im not sure which one this is, I know its not the black one :P Then splice the black wire into the black wire (which should already be spliced into so dont unplug this one) waa laa done. Can you also do me a favor and save those boxes if your not going to use them? The parts are kinda hard for me to get and expensive so if your not going to use it rather then throwing it away save it for me.

Here is the most widley used wiring diagram. This will allow you to have 1/2 bright with the lights on and full bright with the turn signals. Also is a pic of the hole.

You see I don't want them to come on any time but when the blinker is on. All other times I want them to stay off even when the park lights are on. I searched for this and I couldn't find anything about wiring them like this. So quit *****ing and moaning about the search!

Then forget the electronics and hook the green wire up to the blue w/orange (from the above picture).

It will only flash with the trun signal.
