Very good gun, pretty nice price too, especially from a local shop (i assume)

I hate guns. Everytime I'm in the vacinity of one, they always end up getting pointed at me. I realize there are responsible people out there that don't waive them around, and the people I've been around are idiots. I don't think I'll ever shoot a gun for this reason.

am I the only one that's concerned by this?
ever hear of a range?
HAHA I didnt re-read that post. Yes at the range. He only bought because there was a ring of kick-in robberies going around in his neighborhood. Nice neighborhood just not well patroled. One lady was home alone and the robbers kicked in her door in the middle of the day. Tied her up and gagged her, and took everything in the back of a Uhaul. Can you imagine that. Otherwise he wouldnt have one. And also he served 5 yrs military service so I am confident he knows how to handle a firearm. -tropictour

I have never shot that particular model, but I certainly haven't heard anything nasty or wrong with SA.
Have you had a chance to shoot one before you buy? If not, I would highly suggest cycling a few rounds through one before a purchase if at all possible. Grabbing one and dry-firing won't do you any justice; go to a range and ask around.

What he said. Also, that SA is good for dexterity challenged people. As an example, Fire a Beretta 92, an HK P2000 and your SA. You'll find three completely different fits & movements despite being similar styles of weapon. Read as needing 3 different thumb lengths...
Personal choice for me (in order) Sig P228, HK USP and finally the Beretta 92FS (hey its what I learned with in the Marines)
