This is one of the more weak post in a while, sorry I could give a rats ass if some "baby boomer" didn't like or get my CSVT, I know what it was all about and had it modded very well IMO, and was usually as detailed and clean as their garage queens! I know your somewhat new here Raw so let me tell you about the CEG and its representation at the WDC over the past few years. First let me tell you about our spot, its the Benz dealership just S of Quarten (16 mile) on the E side of the street. We've had some good turnouts from this spot over the past 4 years. Last year we had 11 cars at one time and no fewer than 5 at peak time, so don't worry about what people are going to say and as far as that goes, alot of people of all ages stop by and like the cars, trust me
I will be out at this spot by 5:30 a.m., but I'm going there with my buddy who has a new Colorado thats lowered and its red, so you can't miss it. In additon to that, another one our buddies is bringing his 84' Monte Carlo that "crack pavement" and runs low 12's As far as people showing up, well, I'll tell you what I've told you in the past...IF YOU WANT A LARGE GROUP OF CONTOURS PARKING TOGETHER, GET THERE EARLY!, period! This event is once a year and just get your ass out of bed and get down there by 7:00 a.m., sack up and show up and we'll all have a good time, always do Now, who's REALLY going to show up by then. Last year the parking lot was filled up by 7:30 8:00 a.m., no kidding either. Also, don't come in here and say its too far away from everything either. Downtown Birmingham is a short walk away and the S bound side of Woodward becomes a parking lot by 11:30 a.m., so all you gotta do is sit back and enjoy the show. I don't mean to rub anyone the wrong way here, but to really enjoy yourself and and park together, someones gotta do it. I've been out there every year since the first one way back in 95', damn that was a long time ago, I was 25
