Politics do, and that's what I'm talking about.


But within the us and the them there are even more us vs them conflicts, and in the end it comes down to the fact that two people who share the same broad ideology (e.g "conservatism") do not necessarly aggree on every issue (e.g. "the war in iraq"). Especially when going to war in Iraq doesn't have anything to do with conservatism as an ideology, it has to do with republicans as a party
