Not yet. The dealer the car is at is super slammed now and has been for months. He is working Saturday to fix it for me. It's nice to have hookups.

I couldn't tell for sure since it was dark when it broke, but is it rods or cables or both?

Anything after 95 (and possibly early 96) is cables I do believe.

Team Ford just seems to get busier and busier. I got my hookup in there too just in case something breaks and I can't fix it. When 3.0L time comes I know who's going to build it.

Who do you know at Team?

I'm hoping to get it back tomorrow afternoon. I'll make sure to be easier on the shifting in the future....

If I have a problem usually Aric Carion is back there. He's the one who built that 700rwhp Marauder. He seems to do a lot of dyno tuning and performance modifications for the MOD V8 crew. He said whenever I have the money he wants to try out a nitrous system on my car. Too bad I don't have any.

Still at the shop. The part(s) had to be ordered and are supposedly coming in today.

I finally got it back last night! Not only was the cable broken, but there was a snapped bolt inside the tranny that had to be replaced. I got out of it with only paying $300 for parts and labor.

I am in Forsyth(north on 400 to exit 14). I'd like some info on good (cheap too hopefully :-/, HS=low budget) mechanics for the CSVT, because.. while I am into the whole modding scene, I am in High School so budget+time+work=no time to learn about my new CSVT (1999 Silver Frost CSVT). Also, do you know where the number is on the vehicle (production number I mean, like #300 out of say... 5000)

Thanks,
Erik

P.S. Anyone know if the '99 has cables or rods, my old Saab had cables and they came off all the time w/o breaking.

Hey man, i am from forsyth county too...
I went to south, you go to central right?

I go to georgia tech now, but i am up there all the time.

For build number call 800-ford-svt i think, give them your vin and they will give you the #

99 is cable shift.

If you need help installing some mods hit me up, I will be glad to help

edit: I saw a silver frost off of 369 a couple weeks ago, I was pulling out of a gas station, missing my front oval
