ok I have done some talking with someone who manufactures custom Altezza tails and he has agreed to make them for the Contours. Below is his response to my question of what would be required: What I require for a set of tails is this.
I need a donor pair of OEM lights. They ship those to me and I make them
into Euro-Style. When completed, they send me the OEM ones an their car and
a check to cover all parts, I send them the finished product.
Once this is done, I am ready for full production. Here is a pic of his tails on a Dodge Stratus:  So I need a pair of tails to get this started, anyone willing to donate a set of tails for a good cause? -Mark

rear reflector that reminds me I am also gonna need a reflect for the 98 up & the reflector set for the pre 98's as well.
Yeah, seeing a lack on interest is typical... every talks about how no one makes stuff for these cars, but when a product is offered for production everyone seems to back away. Why??

why not use your own ones? I'd offer to donate mine, but my car is a daily driver, so i need my rear lights on, and i cannot afford an extra set, but in the future i would be able to buy some, and i am serious i have NO money im in debt at the moment... *shrugs* I would if i could, i'd rather like to get a set of altezza style rear lights with the insides painted either black or body colour rather like what chris H does with the headlights, but like i said right now i dont have the money, though soon i will.... Well, CRAP!! I already have a set I have hacked up to make my own. CRAP!!!
Mark, taillights are fairly cheap. I saw a set go for $10 the other day on eBay. Cool thing is, they can be any year Contour or Mystique.
Also, what are we talking about moneywise to get these made???

the reason why I am not using my own is because i don't want Clears or Altezza style tail lights. I think they are ugly.
BUT there are people who constantly talk about how cool they are and wished they had some. So I figured I would go to bat and try and help out by using some of my resources.
