It may be very close on whether or not they decide to total it. My SVT was in a very bad accident about 1 1/2 ago and they didn't total it. The car was at a dead stop in the fast lane on the highway, and I got sandwiched between 2 cars, my front slipped under the car in front of me. Damage came to $6,100. They said anymore and it would have been totalled.
