It takes about 3-4 hours with Dremel (each headlight) to very slowly go around the seal twice. Then, you have to very carefully and slowly use two slot screwdrivers to ever so gently pry the lens from the base. As I stated before, if you go too fast, or don't watch what you are doing, you can end up with a heap of hacked up plastic.

Hey Chris,
Is the paint you used on the headlights an exact color coded match to the factory T-Red paint? It looks a little darker (could just be the lighting). Thanks.

DupliColor "GM 380 M GARNET RED" is what it says on the can. Make sure you use primer over anything you are painting with it.

the color is a little darker, if you want the color to match, got to a custom shop and have it mixed, could be expensive.

I had a can of Toreador red paint made up at my local paint supplier. They duplicated the color, mixed it, and installed it into a compressed spray can in 10 minutes and for only $12 a can. They used PPG paint and the can was loaded (far more quality paint than there is in a $5 can of walmart red). The can was even a top quality can with a great nozzle.

I was toying around with how this might look on a Silver Frost... I know this page is already pretty heavy-laden with images, but I just had to share, since... well, this is what *I* would like... no reflectors and clear-or-blue turn signal bulbs. Anyway... here's the result... .RMk..
