When they are live?! WTH? Roger Waters last played with them in 1980. I liked there music still but still not as great as with him. I guess the last year was '94 for the Division Bell Tour though. 11 years ago! LOL!

They just played live, because the band got back together for the Live 8

It's even listed on Wikipedia

It was on MTV, which MTV sucks because they cut out the last part of Comfortably Numb, but I was able to rewatch it on Aol Music, Even though I hate AOL.....

when old rock bands still play, do they even come out with new music anymore? most of them are just playing their old hits that everyone loved. some try to come out with new songs [cough]Duran Duran[cough] but dont really have much success. Aerosmith is probably one of the greatest exceptions to the rule

cant wait for the new INXS tv show where they try to find a replacement for Micheal Hutchins, American Idol style!

Or maybe, just maybe, he should rap about the [censored] his people go through everyday and the glam rap lifestyle is a 1-in-a-million shot that everybody can't get.

I don't like rap stars that much, don't like rap music that much either, but what I think 2pac's one of the best for the reason that he had a message and never stopped talking about it whether he was successful already or still starting out.

Instead of Dear Mama, or Changes, we have to listen to [censored] like Eminem 'wah wah the world's so hard leave me alone i just wanna be i am what i am i hate gays gimme my money' or fidy's 'dizahm i gets shots again nigs, lick my lollipops caz dis song's beat is magic stick and dre was too tired to make a new one'.

Seriously, Eminem chopped up 2pac's voice to say 'g-g-g-g-g-unit' and 'eminem' and stupid ass [censored] like that. That's complete disrespect.

I don't see why everyone has so much hate towards him. I think he has a Dave Chapelle way about himself. He's not afraid to say what he means, whether it be about sex, race, money, drugs etc., and has a humorous way about sending his message(through his music). Sure, his profanity is a little(ok a lot) excessive, but atleast he has something to say that doesn't involve rims, Escalades and hoes, layed over a crappy beat.

I agree with what you're saying, though I think he took the idea of offensive remarks a little far. He seemed to begin living entirely off of his ability to offend pretty much everyone.

I hope he retires, because I think the industry is getting a little fatigued from him. I'd hate to see his image deteriorate to where he's resented and eventually goes down less than respectively. He is one of the greatest rappers ever and I think if he stays around for another mediocre album or two that his legacy will be damaged. It's impossible for him to have under-the-radar albums like other great MCs have had later in their careers (Ice Cube, Common, etc.) because of the media sensation that he has been. Going out (and not like Jay Z or Master P) is the best way to preserve his image and legacy.
