I really liked it.
Depp as wonka - wierd, but good. Jako mixed with Austin Powers. Love Depp and Wilder both for different reasons.
Burton as director - perfect. Glad he was the one to do make this movie. Much bigger, grander, and better. There are things that are better served in 2005 than back in 1971.
Oompa-Loompas - freakin hilarious. The songs were a bit tough to make-out, but each one made me lose it
Part of that is also Burton's touch, but Elfman had the most to do with it I'm sure.
Definetly will be buying the DVD
