Wow, no hesitation there! Do you think the earlier mention of a more affordable kit (~$3500) will become a reality soon? Sceondly, why is your answer so emphatic? I am still learning about the pros and cons. Thanks

ADC kit comes with everything you need for it to bolt up and run properly (unlike the vortech kit), even if it is the $3500 kit that might be released. The ADC kit makes tons more power under the curve as well.

Get the ADC kit and dont look back. Several people have had nothing but great things to say about ADC. I have seen pics and everything is quality and complete. I believe they are looking into a non-intercooled version with water injection to keep the price down. -tropictour

it already does...stazi put down 295 whp at SZ with the T-28 kit, no intercooler, and water injection.

IIRC, Vortech no longer makes the SC kit for the Contour, and no longer supports it, so no warranty, & replacement parts & such might be a problem. That's what I've read on various CDW-27 sites and been able to gather to a lesser degree from the Vortech site.
Vortechs initial effort on the Contour SC kit was sincere, but some key design flaws left buyers with a bad experience. The major issues were reportedly addressed with later kits, but by that time a firt rate turbo kit from ADC had taken the market away.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
