Now I remember why I usually skip this forum. It's so full of BS posted by people that don't know how easy it is to spot their BS.
9.1, 9.3, 9.5 in the 1/8th is BS enough but 9.1 & 9.3 to 1000' BWAHAHAHAHA...
Anybody wanna host some pics for me, or suggest a site? SSwolfe are you the guy my brother ran into in Steele this weekend? If so PM me about that interior!

alright well i am not speaking for anyone else but me...actually i just won't make anymore comments on this subject. i won't post anymore of my times i will just say "i went to the track and did good." it doesn't seem to matter if you post timeslips or not anymore so i won't.
i would just like to say i think a 9.1 is POSSIBLE in the 1/8th. will EVERY bolt-on mod, and some radials.

Well if you can run a 15 in the quarter mile, and an eigth mile is half as long, people should be able to run 7.5 in the eight, right

It is possible. rule of thumb as you may know or at least from what I've heard is take your 1/8th mile time times 1.5 and that should be close to your 1/4 time. Forgive my crappy picture taking but I've been up over 24hours
Digital Slacker thanks but I figured out how to do some basics on imageshack last night at work.
Demon I have alot of respect for you and have never met you, how about never calling me a liar again, not everyone on the internet is going to tell lies in hopes of impressing you or the other "old heads" on this site, if thats what you think. I know that we have had alot of BS & such going on on the site recently but I have no reason to lie about what I did( I lost to my baby brother ). Maybe this track( Camp Hill AL) is a little short, Maybe their equipment is off or just plain sucks. I don't know anything for sure, but what this slip says is that I had a 9.3 ET In an 1/8th. Thats why I said it and the only reason why.
O.B.

the old rule of thumb would put that at 13.95 1/4 mile

9.1 is a very low 14 second run.
9.5 is a mid to high 14 second run.
Without cut & dry proof it's all 100% bullsh~t. Plain & simple. The launch & 1-2 shift are by far the hardest parts about driving these cars and that's once you have the power to weight to begin with.
My old 2.5L with a 2.1x 60' ran 9.5x. (over 100lbs weight reduction as well)
The only other documented car was an SVT with all the bolt ons, LSD, and DRs that hit a 2.0 60' time and ran a 9.4-9.5 1/8th
My 3L with a 2.3x 60' runs 9-9.1 consistently. (It takes a great launch and perfect 1-2 to hit 8's)
To quote times near 9.5 or below will always be accompanied by countless people calling for proof. There's a reason.
Then when someone says, as in this post, the track is 1000' and they are claiming those times. BWAHAHAHAHA. That's like an 11 second contour. Not only that but a near stock 11 second contour.
Like I said earlier I normally skip this forum because over half the posts are 100% Grade A bullsh~t.
