Thanks- There ain't no way I'm pullin that Temp Sender again. The cuts on my wrist and hands haven't healed up from installing the new one! I think I'll try the paperclip method or just buy another OBD-1 Scanner (I had one for an 89 astro I had)
I didn't know that a blown head gasket could cause it to heat up quickly. The plugs all look clean with no single one being a different color but maybe it's time to run a compression check or have the system pressure tested. I'm just tryn to avoid takin it to a stealership and I don't have a mechanic that I trust also, my daughter SHOULD be paying for the repairs (not that I've made her) Thanks for all your help. you have no idea how much it's appreciated! I've never tackled a Head Gasket, but I'm willin to give it a shot!
